Privacy Policy

Effective June 24, 2026

Overview

Jarvie is an AI assistant in iMessage and SMS that helps you and the people you text get things done. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and share it, your choices, and your rights. It covers the Jarvie service and our website, heyjarvie.com.

By using Jarvie, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service. We take your data privacy very seriously.

Who we are

Jarvie is operated by All Day Technologies, Inc. (“Jarvie,” “we,” “us”). Jarvie is for users in the United States and is not directed to the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Questions: contact@heyjarvie.com.

Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you use Jarvie.

Information you provide

  • Phone number. The number you text from, so we can reach you on iMessage or SMS.
  • Messages and content. The messages, links, photos, files, and voice notes you send where Jarvie is present.
  • Profile details. Your name, how you'd like to be addressed, your time zone, and an optional email.
  • Things you ask Jarvie to remember. Preferences, people, plans, and reminders. See Memory.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage and diagnostics. How you interact with Jarvie, the features you use, timestamps, and logs that keep the service reliable and secure.

Information from service providers

  • Operational data. Delivery status and related metadata from the providers that send our messages.

We collect only what we need to run and improve Jarvie.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve Jarvie
  • Understand context and generate responses
  • Send setup, reminder, support, and service messages
  • Personalize your experience and remember what you ask us to
  • Monitor performance, debug, prevent abuse, and keep the service safe
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We anonymize data to protect your identity whenever possible.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as defined under California law).

AI processing and message content

Jarvie uses AI to understand your messages and reply. Your message content and context are processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses.

We anonymize data to protect your identity whenever possible, and anonymized answers may be used to improve your experience with the product.

AI outputs may be inaccurate. Verify anything important independently. Jarvie does not give medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Memory

Jarvie remembers details from your conversations — preferences, the people and relationships you mention, plans, and reminders — to personalize your experience. This can include information about others you mention. You can ask us to delete it anytime (see Your choices).

How we share information

We share information only in limited cases:

  • Service providers. Vendors that deliver messages, host infrastructure, store files, generate AI responses, process voice audio, send email on your behalf, and help us secure and improve Jarvie. They may use your information only for us, under contract.
  • Other people in your chats. Participants in a thread see Jarvie's replies. Jarvie also processes others' messages in that thread to respond.
  • Legal and safety. To comply with law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jarvie, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Connected features (email and calendar)

Jarvie can draft and send email on your behalf and create calendar events and subscribable feeds. We process only what those features need — recipients, subject, and body for email; event details for calendar.

Jarvie does not connect to your external email or calendar accounts today. If we add account connections, they will use secure, revocable delegated access, and we will update this policy.

Group chats and other participants

In a group, Jarvie processes the thread's messages to respond, and its replies are visible to everyone. Be mindful of what you share where Jarvie is present.

Voice and audio

If you send voice notes or use voice replies, a third-party provider transcribes or synthesizes the audio. We use it only for those features.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed to run Jarvie, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your data (see Your choices).

Your choices

  • Stop messages. Ask Jarvie to stop messaging or to stop proactive check-ins, or remove it from a conversation, anytime.
  • Delete your data. Email contact@heyjarvie.com. We process deletion within 30 days; backup copies clear shortly after. Some data may be kept where the law requires.
  • Correct your data. Ask Jarvie or email us to fix what we hold about you.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your information, and to opt out of certain uses. Email contact@heyjarvie.com to exercise them. We verify requests, respond within legal timeframes, and won't discriminate against you for asking. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, as amended:

  • Categories collected: identifiers (phone number, device IDs); internet or network activity (usage and diagnostics); approximate location (from your number or device); and the contents of messages, photos, files, and voice notes you send. Plus name and email if provided.
  • Sources: you; your device and carrier; our service providers.
  • Purposes: to provide, secure, and improve Jarvie (see How we use your information).
  • Your rights: know, access, correct, and delete your information; opt out of any “sale” or “sharing”; and limit use of sensitive information.
  • No sale or sharing: we do not sell your information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise these rights, email contact@heyjarvie.com.

Security

We take your data privacy very seriously and use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, monitoring, and anonymization to protect your identity. No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and regulators as the law requires, without undue delay.

Children

Jarvie is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. An adult may manage household information, including about children; you are responsible for what you share, and we treat it as your content under our Terms. If you think a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, give notice through Jarvie, our website, or other reasonable means. Continued use means you accept the update.
